When you place an order on alexandrastandahl.com, you are welcome to return any item(s) using our free returns service, provided you return them within fourteen (14) days of  the delivery date.

Item(s) must be returned in perfect condition with all garment tags still attached in the original packaging provided. This is also to ensure that item(s) arrives back to us in a suitable and undamaged state. Returned item(s) that have been used, worn or washed, altered, damaged or returned to late will not be accepted and may be sent back to you and/or a refund refused. 

To arrange a return, please do the following steps:

1.     In advance of the return, please send an e-mail to customercare@alexandrastandahl.com with your request. Once your return has been approved, you will receive a RETURNS FORM and a pre-paid return shipping label. 

2.     Print and fully complete the return form, including the order number. 

3.     Place the item(s) you want to return and the completed returns form in the original packaging  and shipping box provided.

4.     Close the shipping box and tape it securely.

 5.     Print and place the pre-paid return shipping label to the outside of the shipping box.

 6.     Contact your local UPS and arrange a pick up or deliver your return at your nearest UPS Access Point™

 7.     The return will be traceable and insured until it has reached our office. 

We prefer that items are returned to us via our own service so that they are protected and insured. You can return using any secure means, but we may not accept liability. If you do, please inform us within 14 days of delivery. 


You will be refunded the amount paid for the item(s) within a maximum period of fourteen (14) days of receiving and approving the return. 

Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment. Original delivery costs will not be refunded. If your order has been sent to a destination within Norway, all sales taxes will be refunded. Outside of Norway, customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable through ALEXANDRA STANDAHL. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly.

Items purchased on sale are not refundable, but it is possible to make an exchange. Our regular return and exchange policy applies on sales items.

Gift Cards are non-refundable.

Please note that we may not refund item(s) that are sent without any return paperwork.



Purchased item(s) are exchangeable into a different colour within fourteen (14) days of the delivery date. Exchanges are depending on stock availability. Should you be interested in a different style, return your item(s) and simply purchase the new item(s) separately at alexandrastandahl.com. Every exchange must include original receipt and a completed return form and returned in their original, unused condition and packaging.

In advance of the exchange, please send  an e-mail to customercare@alexandrastandahl.com with your request.

All exchanges are shipped to you free of charge.


Unfortunately manufacturing defects may occur and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. If your item(s) received have a manufacturing fault that occurred within 12 months after purchase, please contact us immediately. 

If your item(s) received are classified as faulty and was received defective or damaged, you must contact us as soon as you discover the defect. We will then do our very best to fix your item(s). When items deemed faulty cannot be repaired or the same item is not available, a full refund will be offered. We do not cover any damage caused by misuse, neglect, abrasion, exposure to high temperatures, solvents, acids, water, or normal wear and tear.
